The pool at the bottom of this waterfall, near Durango, Colorado, provides an excellent place to cool off on a hot summer day.

Nature and wildlife photography has long been a passion of mine and while I prefer black and white photography, I recognize that some things just need to be photographed in color. Photography gives me the opportunity to show the beauty of God's creation in ways my viewers may be unaccustomed to seeing. While I always have had a love of photography, it took on a special meaning after a cycling accident resulted in a traumatic brain injury.
