The sun peaks through the storm clouds to spotlight this group of hoodoos at Cedar Breaks National Monument in Utah. This is part of my 104th Psalm Collection and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this image will be donated to the general scholarship fund at my Alma Mater, Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas.

Nature and wildlife photography has long been a passion of mine and while I prefer black and white photography, I recognize that some things just need to be photographed in color. Photography gives me the opportunity to show the beauty of God's creation in ways my viewers may be unaccustomed to seeing. While I always have had a love of photography, it took on a special meaning after a cycling accident resulted in a traumatic brain injury. There are things I struggle with now, but I'm blessed in that photography is not one of them. In fact, it was the camera that helped me begin to re-engage with the world.
