The sun lights up the canyon during this early morning hike in the Palo Duro Canyon State Park, near Canyon, Texas.

Nature and wildlife photography has long been a passion of mine and while I prefer black and white photography, I recognize that some things just need to be photographed in color. Photography gives me the opportunity to show the beauty of God's creation in ways my viewers may be unaccustomed to seeing. While I always have had a love of photography, it took on a special meaning after a cycling accident resulted in a traumatic brain injury.
